This year the festival falls within the Nordic Matters programme. The event takes place until the 28th of August 2017 and opens at 10 am and the best of all it’s free.
Another Grand Mushroom Dance Festival
On the 5th August, the 51st State Festival is back in full swing at Trent Park. This festival takes place for one day and organised by the Found crew. See noble acts in action and get your dance shoes on as the place is going to rock. Some lineups include Dimitri from Paris, Evelyn King, and Todd Terry.
For the Art in You
August Things to do in London have never been better. Visit the Grayson Perry Art Exhibition. This cross-dressing artist is one of Britain’s’ most liked treasures. This major show packed with new works of art. Here you can view ceramic pots, tapestries, custom-made motorbikes, woodcuts and more. The exhibit takes place at the Serpentine Gallery through to 7 September 2017 and is FREE.

Take the kids to the Science Museum exhibition to see if the robots will take over the world. Here the entire family can view hundreds of these automated friends developed over the years. The children can interact with a 16th-century robot monk or see a 1950 giant robot. Interact with the walk and talk robots until the 3rd September 2017.
Let the kids go wild this holiday on a treetop adventure at Battersea Park in the Go Ape Junior course. Here they can climb ladders and walk on the walkways while climbing through tunnels. There is even a full course available for the adults to enjoy.
